-24 of the 30 eligible drivers have set plans to drive in the Shootout.
-Derricke Cope has run the 500 as a one-off entry for the last two years, has not officially announced plans.
-Trevor Bayne has been set to run the first five races for WBR, but could go with Elliot since he is the only eligible driver of the two. May run for Phoenix Racing if the team opts not to run the Shootout.
-Michael Waltrip will run the number 15 car as a third part time entry for his team.
-Kevin Conway (somehow...) is eligible for the Shootout, and will drive for NEMCO in their secondary car.
-John Andretti drove the 34 for the Shootout and 500 last year, but has not released details about Daytona 500 plans.
