Bodine to return to The Racing Experts in 2017

TEAM RELEASE
DECEMBER 12, 2016

Retired NASCAR driver Geoff Bodine will continue his role as Driver Analyst for The Racing Experts auto racing media outlet in 2017 for a third consecutive season.

“It really is an honor to be an analyst,” Bodine said. “It’s an honor to do it and have people read and learn more about the sport.”

Bodine will continue to provide installments of “Geoff’s Journal,” a bi-monthly column giving race fans an inside look into the world of stock car racing.

“Unfortunately, I don’t get to as many races as I would like, but when I do, people talk about the articles with me,” he said. “The fans are listening, reading and seem to be enjoying it.

“I want to continue to make it interesting for race fans to hear a driver’s perspective of what’s going on in the sport, what’s taking place and what might take place.”

Bodine made 575 starts in NASCAR’s Premier Series, competing as recent as 2011. He captured 18 career victories, including the 1986 Daytona 500.

Additionally, Bodine was named one of “NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers” in 1998. Read past Geoff's Journal installments HERE.
