AVONDALE, Ariz.23 races remain before the XFINITY Series Chase beings, but Jeb Burton talked about his confidence in qualifying for the series’ playoff system.

“I think we can do that no problem,” Burton said to The Racing Experts “If we don’t, we didn’t do our job, so I feel like we can do that no problem, as long as we don’t have a bunch of crazy stuff happen.

“I feel like we have fast enough cars and hopefully we can run for the championship.”

Burton sits tenth in driver’s standings, four points above the Chase cutoff. The driver talked about the outlook on his season thus far.

“My guys work really hard,” Burton said. “We’re still kind of behind the eight-ball, I feel like this week in Phoenix, we have a lot better car this week than we did last week.

“Last week, we struggled right off the truck, and we just missed it, and that’s part of a new team and growing pains. I felt like we’re much better this weekend, and we’ve just got to keep working on it and I feel like we can get another top-ten in Phoenix.”
