RICHMOND, Va.—Kyle Busch’s victory in the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway Saturday night ties the driver with Buck Baker for 15th all-time on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win list.

Busch, who started 32nd, led the final 11 laps en route to his third win of the season and third consecutive victory.

The win was Buschs 46th career victory.

“It’s definitely cool we’ve won three in a row,” Busch said. “We did it a couple years ago and now I don’t know if you can shoot for four in a row.

“It’s hard to go to Talladega with that much of a winning streak and think that you can go to Victory Lane, but we’re going to go there anyway and give it a shot.”

The next few drivers ahead of Busch on the all-time wins list are Herb Thomas (48), Tony Stewart (49) and Ned Jarrett and Junior Johnson (50).

This is the second time in Busch’s MENCS career he has won three consecutive races. The 2015 champion will be vying for four straight victories next Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway.
