NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Jeffrey Earnhardt will make his NASCAR Pinty’s Series debut at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières on August 14th.
Earnhardt, who drives the No. 32 Go FAS Racing Ford Fusion in the Sprint Cup Series, currently sits 40th in points after racing in six of the ten races this season. Earnhardt, the son of Kerry Earnhardt, is sponsored by Can-Am, the same company that sponsors Alex Labbé’s No. 32 effort in Canada. The two drivers will both be sponsored by Can-Am at Trois-Rivières, with the company also being the title sponsor for the race.
Labbé finished fourth place at Trois-Rivières last year. Like Earnhardt, Labbé races for Go Fas Racing.
Earnhardt has raced in one full campaign in any of the top-three NASCAR series, finishing 18th in points during the 2014 Xfinity Series season while driving the No. 4 JD Motorsports Chevrolet. Earnhardt’s best career Sprint Cup finish is a 32nd place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway in April 2016.
