Notes: Teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series will run the same tire codes at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this week . . . this is the same left-side tire code (D-4650) these teams ran at Indy last year, though this is a different right-side code (D-4710) . . . compared to what was run at Indianapolis last year, this right-side features slightly less gage (tread thickness) to reduce heat and align with what is run at Pocono . . . Sprint Cup teams ran this same right-side code at Pocono in June, and will do so again next week . . . this tire set-up came out of a Goodyear test at Indy on April 26-27 . . . drivers taking part in that test were Aric Almirola, Carl Edwards, Chase Elliott and Tony Stewart . . . as on all NASCAR ovals  greater than one mile in length, teams will run inner liners in all four tire positions at Indianapolis . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series -- Race No. 11 – Aspen Dental Dirt Derby
Eldora Speedway (0.5-mile oval) – Rossburg, Ohio
Fast Facts for July 19-20, 2016
Tire: Goodyear Eagle Dirt Bias Ply
Set limits: 4 sets for the event
 Tire Codes: Left-side -- D-3004; Right-side -- D-3006
 Tire Circumference: Left-side -- 85.79 in. (2,179 mm); Right-side -- 88.50 in. (2,248 mm)
 Minimum Recommended Inflation: Left Front -- 18 psi; Left Rear – 18 psi;
Right Front -- 22 psi; Right Rear -- 22 psi
Notes: This is the same combination of left- and right-side tires NASCAR Camping World
Truck Series teams have run at Eldora since the inaugural event in 2013 . . . there are
three main differences between this tire set-up and the one that Camping World Truck
teams "normally" run on asphalt ovals -- (1) these are bias ply tires, not radials, and are
more compliant and able to envelope the irregularities of the dirt surface, (2) these tires
have a block-style tread pattern to help evacuate the dirt, not a "slick" or smooth tread,
and (3) this left-side tire (D-3004) is significantly shorter to build in more stagger between
the left- and right-side tires . . . when originally designed for the Trucks at Eldora three
years ago, this tire was based on a dirt modified tire already in Goodyear Racing's tire
line . . . at that time, the Eldora tire was widened out to 11 inches (from 10 inches on the
dirt modified tire) to give the trucks more grip . . . as on  most NASCAR ovals one mile or
less in length, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Eldora.
