BRISTOL, Tenn.—Brad Keselowski’s two stage wins in the Food City 500 netted 20 stage points, pushing the 2012 Cup Series champion’s season total to 100 stage points.

Keselowski is the first driver to hit the triple-digit mark in stage points this year and leaves Bristol Motor Speedway as the stage points leader eight races into the season.

Kyle Busch, who led drivers in stage points entering Bristol, sits second, trailing Keselowski by two points.

Rounding out the top five are Kevin Harvick (76 points), Kurt Busch (71) and Joey Logano (63).

Ryan Newman earned his first stage points of the season, earning nine points with his second-place finish in Stage 1.

Overall, 28 competitors have earned stage points in 2018.

With the exception of the Coca-Cola 600 in May, every points-paying race in 2018 is broken up into three stages.

Each of the first two stages pays out points to the top-10 finishing drivers. A first-place finish gets 10 points, second-place gets nine points, and so forth.
