Kyle Larson claimed the pole for the AAA 400 Drive for Autism Friday at Dover International Speedway.

Larson posted a lap time of 22.770 seconds (158.103 mph) in the final round of qualifying to earn his first pole of 2018 and fifth of his career.

“We’ve always qualified good here, I had yet to get a pole,” Larson said. “I’ve raced well here but have yet to get a win. Maybe we’ll get both out of the way this weekend.”

Kevin Harvick will start on the outside front row with his time of 22.858 seconds (157.494 mph) for his fourth front-row start of 2018.

Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. round out the top five.

Defending spring Dover winner Jimmie Johnson will start 19th.

The race is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET with television coverage on FOX Sports 1 and radio coverage on MRN.
