Stephen Leicht’s start for BK Racing Sunday at Pocono was a one-race deal, the driver told The Racing Experts.

Leicht, the 2012 Cup Series Rookie-of-the-Year, made his first start in  NASCAR’s top series in the Overton’s 400 at Pocono Raceway for the first time since the fall Phoenix race in 2012.

Prior to the race, Leicht said the goal at Pocono was to finish the race without incident.

Leicht was running at the finish, bringing home the No. 83 Toyota in 32nd, seven laps down.

Leicht said he “does not know” how many more Cup Series races he will be running the rest of 2017.

“I know I’ve got some stuff I’m working on for next year that’s pretty big,” Leicht said. “I can’t say anything about that yet.”
