Logano earns 19th career pole at Martinsville

MARTINSVILLE, Va.—For the third time in 2017, qualifying and the race were held on the same day. This time, it was Joey Logano who swept all 3 rounds of knock-out qualifying and went on to capture the Coors Light Pole award.

This is Logano’s fourth pole at the historic .526-mile speedway.

Logano posted a fast speed of 96.504. Martin Truex Jr. will start on the outside pole, followed by Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, and Clint Bowyer.

The First Data 500 is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Eastern Time Sunday at Martinsville Speedway.
