NASCAR announces criteria for racing at AMS Sunday

HAMPTON, Ga.—Steve O’Donnell, the Chief Racing Development Officer and Executive Vice President for NASCAR, announced via Twitter track drying operations at Atlanta Motor Speedway must begin by 5:00 p.m. EST Sunday.
It was also announced in the drivers meeting whenever the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 begins, a competition caution will be held on lap 30.
The NASCAR official also debunked rumors that the event would be moved to March 31, Easter Weekend, due to teams needing preparation time to head to Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
In the event that the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta is postponed, the event will be ran as soon as possible on Monday.
