Brad Keselowski will be competing for his second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship in six years this season.

Keselowski is making his sixth playoff appearance and fourth consecutive.

The Team Penske driver won two races during the regular season at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. He will start as the fourth seed with 2,019 total points.

“I don’t think we’re anywhere close to where we need to be for the mile-and-a-halves, where the aero kicks in,” Keselowski said.

“But, the short tracks we’ve got Martinsville, which has been a real strong track for us, and then Talladega is a real strong track for us.

“Hopefully, we can just get solid finishes on the mile-and-a-halves and advance and find something to get on an equal playing field with the other manufacturer.”

The 2012 champion has won at seven of the ten tracks in the playoffs. He has never won at Texas Motor Speedway, Phoenix Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
