Q. [Eleventh] place qualifying effort, what's your outlook for Sunday?

“Yeah, no I'm pretty optimistic. We had a good race run there first in the practice, and we struggled in qualifying trim but we made it better there for qualifying.

That last run wasn't our best, just got too tight there but, so we'll start [eleventh], but still, that was definitely an improvement from practice.”

Q. How confident are you that you can climb up through the field and win on Sunday?

“You know, we'll have to see tomorrow after we see after we run some more race practice, and just see what kind of pace we have.

“I always feel good about this racetrack, and I feel like we did some things today that certainly made some gains. We'll apply those things tomorrow and see where we end up.”

Q. And lastly, has it sunk in that this will be your last race at Phoenix International Raceway?

“No, it's hard for that to sink in. I don't know if that'll sink in till this time next year.”

Thank you so much.

“Yeah.”
