Barney Visser is the owner of Furniture Row Racing, the single-car operation based out of Denver, Colorado that fields the No. 78 Chevrolet of Martin Truex Jr.

The Racing Experts recently caught up with Visser to talk with him about his race team.

The Racing Experts: Compared to a year ago, your team is now locked inside the Chase for the Sprint Cup. What’s the atmosphere like for your race team?

Barney Visser: “We take it a day at a time; that’s what I’m doing here.”

TRE: What are some short-term goals for you and your team before the Chase starts?

Visser: “Well, we’d like to win a couple races. We would really like to make sure we have our setups dialed in and I know it’s different (at) every track you go to, but there are thing you can find, that go from track-to-track.”

TRE: Have there been any more talks or developments in the search for additional funding or the chance of seeing investors?
