The NASCAR XFINITY Series is headed to the Iowa Speedway this weekend, located about 30 miles east of Des Moines. There is one driver who is on a hot streak at Iowa—series points leader Elliott Sadler.

Sadler, who will be making his 800th career NASCAR national touring series start this weekend, captured his only win at the track in 2012, leading 60 of the event’s 250 laps.

Sadler has 12 starts at the speedway and has finished inside the top 10 in every start of his career at Iowa. Qualifying hasn’t been an issue for the One Main Financial driver, as he has qualified in the top 15 in all of his starts.

Sadler has since struggled to stay in front of the field since the victory in 2012, leading 16 laps across his last eight starts at the 7/8th-mile short track.

The XFINITY Series points leader is coming off a string of four top-five finishes in the last seven XFINITY races. If Sadler finds victory lane, it will be his second win at Iowa Speedway.
