When he was in fifth grade, Kyle McFadden penned a letter to his future self, rambling about memories made in elementary school and future aspirations.
With no specified ETA, one of those dreams was to become a “NASCAR analyst” in some capacity.
Ten years later, and Kyle gets to fulfill that vision instilled many moons ago with The Racing Experts in a swiss-army-knife-like role. Kyle, a New Market, Md. native, (40 minutes west of Baltimore and an hour north of Washington, D.C.) is an overall sports junkie, but has been a diehard race fan since he left the womb.
He can be found hanging out at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway on Saturday nights; a half-mile, red clay oval dubbed the “Dirt Capitol.” NASCAR ringers Kasey Kahne and Kyle Larson race there from time to time.
Along with his passion for racing, Kyle brings a stable track record of reporting to the TRE team. He is the co-owner and editor-in-chief of Maryland Sports Access, a media outlet that covers all things sports in Maryland.
In addition, Kyle covers college basketball for MSA, and writes for The Baltimore Sun media group. He’s currently a sophomore at Frederick Community College and plans to transfer to the University of Maryland in the fall of 2018 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism.
Kyle is a storyteller at heart and strives to keep his writing insightful and eloquent.
