Travelling to the center of America this weekend is the NASCAR circuit as we enter week eleven of the 2016 NASCAR season. A 1.5 mile tri-oval, Kansas Speedway offers fast speeds and a slick track surface that teams will have to adapt to as temperature changes through the night.

Here are some helpful pointers to pick your weekly lineup in fantasy this Saturday night.

Joey Logano
Penske Racing’s Joey Logano is a must-have this weekend at Kansas. In his past five races at the speedway, Logano has finished in top-five all five times while claiming the victory twice.

Joey Logano on track at Kansas Speedway Friday.

His strength this season and at this track is easily the reason to notice him in your fantasy lineup. Throughout practice this week, he has run consistently right outside the top-ten, but come race day look for Logano to contend for the victory and give fantasy owners a plethora of points.
Cost: $9,800

Carl Edwards
After winning two weeks in a row at Bristol and Richmond, Carl Edwards came home a disappointed 35th at Talladega, but chalk that up to the hectic environment that racing at Talladega has to offer.

In his past five races at Kansas, Edwards has the fourth best average finish among active drivers with tenth, including two top-five finishes. While he has never won at the speedway, he has a total of 12 top-ten finishes in 17 starts, with a best of second in 2008.

He has been in the top-ten for most of practice, and could very well contend for the victory Saturday.

Clint Bowyer on track at Kansas Speedway Friday.

Jamie McMurray
Kansas has not proved to be very kind to Jamie Mac in recent years, as he has finished outside the top-ten in the past five races and has an average finish of 22nd in that time period, one of the worst among active drivers.

Overall, McMurray has finished inside the top-ten only three times in 18 career Sprint Cup starts.

Speed charts in practice haven’t helped his cause either, as he has been primarily in the early 20’s all weekend. Some say streaks are meant to be broken, but for the sake of your fantasy lineup don’t count on it.
Cost: $7,700

Clint Bowyer
For Clint Bowyer, Kansas is a hometown race for the resident of Emporia, but hometown hasn’t been kind to him.

While Bowyer has claimed top-ten finishes in two of the last three races, his average finish the past five races at Kansas is a mediocre 23rd. In first and second practice, Bowyer ended up in 29th and 32rd respectively and 1.5 mile tracks early have shown a lack of speed from HScott Motorsports.

He’s picked up two top-ten finishes in the last three Sprint Cup races this season, but don’t look to add the hometown product to your lineup.
Cost: $7,000

Aric Almirola on track at Kansas Speedway Friday.

LOW RISK, HIGH REWARD Aric Almirola The Richard Petty Motorsports driver has always done decently at Kansas, with an average finish of 16th in the past five races. He also has taken home two top-ten finishes and an eleventh place effort in that time span.

In both practices this week, Almirola has finished in the top-ten with a ninth and seventh respectively. Almirola also comes at cheap price for those looking to bridge the gap of cost in their lineup.
