LAS VEGAS—With NASCAR making its annual stop in Las Vegas, we took the garage area once again to find out drivers, owners and industry personnel’s preference on gambling and if they’re staying on The Strip.
Q. Where did you this weekend?
Chase Elliott, No. 9 JR Motorsports: “The MGM.”
Robin Pemberton, Director of Competition: “At the Aliante.”
Jack Roush, Roush Fenway Racing owner: “At the New York New York.”
Archie St. Clair, GO FAS Racing owner: “Riviera.”
Q. Tables or slots?
Derrike Cope, No. 70: “I like the tables, I’m not much of a slots guy.”
Robin Pemberton: “Not many, I don’t play.”
Jack Roush: “I’m not gambling. I gamble at the racetrack.”
Archie St. Clair: “Tables, black jack all the way.”
Daniel Suarez, No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing: “I don’t know.”
