Here is the active road and street course wins list in the NASCAR Cup Series, as of the Aug. 10, 2025 race at Watkins Glen:
Chase Elliott – 7 wins

Perhaps the “road course ace” of the active competition, Chase Elliott has seven victories in 35 starts.
Road course wins include:
- 2 – Watkins Glen
- 2 – Charlotte Roval
- 1 – Daytona road course
- 1 – Circuit of the Americas
- 1 – Road America
- July 2021 – Most recent road or street course win to date
Only two drivers have more wins all-time on road and street courses: Tony Stewart (8) and Jeff Gordon (9).
Kyle Larson – 6

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion has 38 starts on road and street courses. Larson has won twice each at:
- Watkins Glen
- Sonoma
- Charlotte Roval
Shane Van Gisbergen – 5

All five of SVG’s NASCAR Cup Series victories have come on road courses:
- Chicago – 2
- Mexico City
- Sonoma
- Watkins Glen
Kyle Busch – 4

Kyle Busch has won twice each at:
- Sonoma
- Watkins Glen
Busch has not picked up a road course win since 2015.
A.J. Allmendinger, Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick – 3 wins each

All three of Allmendinger’s Cup wins have come on road courses:
- Watkins Glen – 2014
- Indianapolis Grand Prix Circuit – 2021
- Charlotte Roval – 2023.
Reddick, like Allmendinger, has won at three different tracks: Road America and Indianapolis GP in 2022 and COTA in 2023.
Christopher Bell won at the Daytona Road Course in 2021 – his first career victory – before winning on the Charlotte Roval in 2022 and at COTA in 2025.
William Byron – 2

William Byron picked up his victories at Watkins Glen in 2023 and COTA in 2024.
9 drivers – 1 win each

Ryan Blaney’s lone road course win came at the inaugural Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval event in 2018.
Alex Bowman won in Chicago in 2024.
Chris Buescher earned his first road course victory at Watkins Glen in 2024.
Ross Chastain’s win was at COTA in 2022.
Denny Hamlin won at Watkins Glen in 2016.
Joey Logano won at Watkins Glen in 2015.
Michael McDowell took the victory in 2023 at the Indianapolis Grand Prix Circuit.
Daniel Suarez’s only Cup Series victory to date came at Sonoma in 2022.
