Austin Hill scheduled for five NASCAR Cup Series races starting at Phoenix

WELCOME, N.C. —  Austin Hill reprises his part-time ride at Richard Childress Racing to make his first NASCAR Cup Series start of 2026 at Phoenix Raceway.

He will make select starts at four other venues and share the No. 33 ride this season with his O’Reilly Series teammate Jesse Love, who makes his first Cup Series start this weekend at COTA.

The 15-time O’Reilly Series winner has made 15 Cup Series starts in his career.

Ten of those starts are with RCR, including his series debut at Michigan International speedway in 2022.

Hill and RCR’s long-term sponsor United Rentals will step up once again to support his Cup Series effort.

“United Rentals has been instrumental in Austin Hill’s continued rise and success, and together we’re looking forward to watching him in the NASCAR Cup Series for select races in 2026.” said Mike Verlander, president of RCR.

United Rentals has backed Hill for nine seasons in the lower series and now enters its fifth consecutive year supporting him in the Cup Series.

“United Rentals continues to be a special part of my career and carrying their colors once again in the Cup Series means a lot. I’ve represented their company for almost a decade now and it never gets old winning races and having success together.” said Hill.

They returned to Victory Lane once again after Austin Hill delivered another superspeedway masterclass in the United Rentals 300 at Daytona.

Now, Hill aims to top his career-best Cup finish of ninth, earned after surviving the early road block at last year’s Chicago Street Course.
