Bubba Wallace rockets to Texas pole

FORT WORTH — Bubba Wallace will lead the field to the green flag Sunday in the EchoPark Autotrader 400.
Wallace posted a 28.862-second lap time in the final round of qualifying Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway (188.337 mph average).
“You’ve got to show up in big-time moments and big-time plays,” Wallace said. “I’m excited for tomorrow.”
The pole is Wallace’s first of 2023 and the second of his career.
Chris Buescher will start alongside Wallace on the front row in second.
Brad Keselowski, Ty Gibbs and Ross Chastain round out the Top-5 qualifiers.
