Bubba Wallace to race No. 45 during NASCAR Playoffs
23XI Racing will race the No. 45 Toyota for the team across the final 10 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff races, swapping numbers with Ty Gibbs, the team announced Wednesday, August 31.
The No. 45 car qualified for the NASCAR Playoffs in the owner’s points via Kurt Busch’s victory in May.
Gibbs will continue to serve as the interim driver in Kurt Busch’s place.
Bootie Barker will remain the crew chief for Wallace while Billy Scott will work with Gibbs.
