Burt Myers to make NASCAR Cup Series points race debut at Martinsville
RIDGEWAY, Va. — Short track ace Burt Myers will make his first ever start in a NASCAR Cup Series points race later this month at Martinsville Raceway.

Myers will race for Team AmeriVet again March 30 in the 400-lap race at Martinsville. It’ll be the biggest track he has raced a Cup Series car at as his first time was at the quarter-mile Bowman Gray Stadium track where he gained a reputation for his short-track prowess with 11 (and counting) track championships in modified racing.
“I am super excited to get another chance at competing in the NASCAR Cup Series. Martinsville is one of the most historic tracks in racing and means a lot to my family,” Myers said.
Myers will have C3 Skids as his sponsor of the team’s 50 Vets a Week program allowing them to relieve $250,000 in veteran debt during the race weekend.
