Chase Elliott did something on Tuesday night that no driver has been able to do since the middle of the 2018 season… beat Kyle Busch in a NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series race.
“The only choice for us was to stay out,” Hamlin said. “We were really the best car on that long run anyway. I think the right car won.”
The books will show Maxwell Castro (Ganassi Gaming) and Justin Brooks (JTG Daugherty Throttlers) as the segment victors. Both drivers will advance to the championship round later in the season.
“I thought (Luza) was saving tires there, behind me, but I was able to pull away there at the end,” Keister said. “We were really close for a while, but I was able to drive away with about 30 to go, and just kept on going.”
Denny Hamlin bookended his virtual season on Saturday afternoon, taking the first official NASCAR Racing Series checkered flag at North Wilkesboro Speedway since the track was shuttered in 1996.
Justin Brooks (XBOX) and Kyle Arnold (PLAYSTATION) collected victories at the virtual Dover on Wednesday evening.

William Byron made it three wins out of the last four races in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series with his win on Sunday afternoon.
Maxwell Castro and Daniel Buttafuoco were victorious at Watkins Glen on Wednesday night.
“Garrett (Lowe) gave me a run for my money,” Ottinger said. “We both weren’t lifting in that situation, and whoever got out front was probably going to win that race.”
