Chase Elliott back in Xfinity Victory Lane for first time since 2016
CONCORD, N.C. — Fresher tires and enough late-race speed put Chase Elliott back in Victory Lane after a NASCAR Xfinity Series race for the first time since 2016.

Chase Elliott led the final 18 laps Saturday in the 200-lap BetMGM 300 to pick up his first NASCAR Xfinity Series win since the Daytona season-opening race in February 2016.
Elliott worked his way around race leader Sam Mayer on the final restart to earn the win in his first start this year.

The win was Hendrick Motorsports’ second in the Xfinity Series in 2024 and 25th in team history. Kyle Larson won for the team at Austin in March.
Brandon Jones, who finished second, appeared to be chasing Elliott down but ran out of laps.
Sammy Smith, Sam Mayer and A.J. Allmendinger rounded out the Top-5 finishers.
Through the field
Kyle Busch, the 2009 series champion and all-time race winner in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, made his first start of the year, finishing sixth after leading on seven occasions for 34 laps.
Ryan Sieg, Josh Williams, Ty Gibbs, and Noah Gragson, who made his first start this year with series newcomers Rette Jones Racing, finished sixth through 10th respectively.
Shane Van Gisbergen was the highest finishing rookie in 15.
Justin Allgaier, who won the first two stages, was taken out in a crash as the race leader, battling with Ty Gibbs. He finished 33rd.
