Cody Ware returns full-time to NASCAR Cup Series in 2025
Cody Ware will return to the NASCAR Cup Series full-time in 2025.

Rick Ware Racing announced Wednesday (Jan. 15) Ware would pilot the team’s No. 51 Ford entry in all 36 points-awarding races and the season-opening exhibition Cook Out Clash Feb. 2 at Bowman Gray Stadium.
Ware raced part-time in 2024 for the team, racing in the team’s No. 15 entry. In nine starts, Ware posted a career-high of fourth-place at Daytona in August.
“The NASCAR Cup Series is where every driver wants to be and I’m grateful to be back fulltime,” Ware said in a news release.

“I’ve improved as a driver and RWR has improved as a team, and this is, by far, the best opportunity I’ve had in NASCAR.”
Ware, who has raced all of his 106 Cup Series races with his father’s team, will race in his first full-time schedule since 2022.
“Cody made a lot out of the nine races he ran for us last year and proved that he was deserving of a fulltime opportunity,” said team owner Rick Ware in a news release. “…A full season together provides the best chance for everyone to succeed.”
