Ryan Blaney, Kyle Busch, and Brad Keselowski were involved in a five-car crash on Lap 42 as drivers were trying to come to pit road for green flag pitstops.

Keselowski and Busch made contact before the trioval, sending their racecars into the tri-oval grass area.

Blaney, who attempted to pass below the two, was clipped by Keselowski in the right-rear quarter panel, causing his No. 12 to come to rest in the tri-oval grass area.

“We were the ham in the sandwich, we got squeezed,” Keselowski said. “I hate that it ruined not just our day, but other’s days.”

Additionally, Alex Bowman and Chris Buescher collected damage in the crash.

Keselowski and Blaney went to the garage area after the crash, ultimately finishing 38th and 39th respectively.

“I didn’t sense anything was going to happen,” Blaney said. “It just stinks. Another DNF is no fun, we’ve been just riddled with those this year.”
