Denny Hamlin ties Kevin Harvick for 10th on NASCAR wins list
LAS VEGAS — Denny Hamlin’s victory in Sunday’s South Point 400 secured his sixth win of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season and 60th of his career.

Hamlin tied Kevin Harvick for 10th all-time on the series’ wins list and achieved his goal of reaching the top 10 on the list with three races left this year.
“I drove as hard as I could,” Hamlin said to PRN about his win. “It’s super rewarding to get results like this.
“Dad’s not doing well and I’m glad he got to see it.”
Hamlin’s six wins is the most he has had in a single season since his seven-win season in 2020. 2025 is the fourth different season where Hamlin has amassed at least six victories.
Hamlin started the season tied for 12th on the series wins list with three-time series champion Lee Petty (54 wins). Throughout 2025, Hamlin broke that tie and passed 1989 champion Rusty Wallace (55 wins).
The next driver ahead of Hamlin and Harvick on the wins list is Kyle Busch at 63 wins.
In addition to the win, Hamlin will race for the championship at Phoenix Raceway next month, giving the Joe Gibbs Racing driver his first NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 berth since 2021.
The next race is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 19, at Talladega Superspeedway.
