Denny Hamlin wins pole for Ally 400
LEBANON, Tenn. — Denny Hamlin will lead the NASCAR Cup Series field to the green flag Sunday in the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Hamlin will share the front row with Josh Berry. Berry earned the third-fastest lap in the final round, behind Christopher Bell. However, with NASCAR’s new qualifying format, Berry will start ahead of Bell because he was in Group A.
Bell, who won last week in the NASCAR Cup Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, will start third. Bell has five consecutive Top-10 finishes, including wins at New Hampshire and the Coca-Cola 600.
Brad Keselowski will start fifth despite running a slower lap than Tyler Reddick in the final round. Reddick will start sixth.
