Berry started 17th and finished inside the Top-10 for the first time since his sixth-place finish at Kansas in May.

“All in all, a really good job for these 21 guys,” Berry said. “…This is what we know we’re capable of, but we’ve had some misfortune. Maybe we had a couple races where we weren’t as fast as we wanted, but we’ve had a lot of bad luck.”

In the races between Top-10 finishes, Berry’s highest finish was 12th on three occasions with five total Top-15 finishes.

Berry’s season totals include 1 win, 2 Top-5 finishes, and 4 Top-10 finishes.

The 34-year-old first-season driver for Wood Brothers Racing earned his first career win at Las Vegas in March, earning a playoff spot after the third race of the season.

2025 will mark the first time Berry makes the playoffs in the Cup Series.

With one race to go before the playoffs start, Berry is one of 14 drivers guaranteed a playoff berth.

“Tonight (Richmond) is what we’re capable of,” Berry said. “We know that going into the playoffs, so it’s nice to have a solid run and, like I said, we’ll go to Daytona and get ready for the playoffs after that.”
