Justin Haley disqualified in COTA post-race tech inspection
NASCAR disqualified Justin Haley in tech inspection after the Cup Series race Sunday at Circuit of the Americas.
Officials found Haley’s car didn’t meet the minimum post-race weight requirements outlined in rulebook section 14.11.2.
Haley had a strong run at COTA, crossing the line in 17th. However, with the disqualification, NASCAR will credit him with a 39th-place finish.
