Honeycutt and Tricon Garage brought tremendous speed in their first appearance at Darlington together.

He finished first in the lone practice session and every lap-average bracket to convert their pace to a first career pole.

Carson Hocevar starts alongside him on the front row for his third start of the season in the series.

Tricon’s other full-time truckers make up row two as Tanner Gray and Gio Ruggiero start third and fourth.

Corey Heim rounds out the top five to give Tricon’s near sweep of the top four spots – Those Toyota Tundra’s will be difficult to compete with.

Two cup series regulars will start in the top ten. Christopher Bell will start sixth in the No. 62 Halmar-Friesen Racing entry and Ross Chastain starts ninth in his return to Niece Motorsports.

Corey LaJoie leads the RAM contingency in 20th while AJ Allmendinger, who is filling in for the suspended Daniel Dye, starts 22nd in his first series oval race in quite some time.

Four drivers failed prerace tech twice and will have their pit selection and car chief taken away from them. They include William Sawalich, AJ Allmendinger, Brenden Queen, and Corey LaJoie.
