DARLINGTON, S.C.—Brad Keselowski is now in sole possession of fourth on the all-time XFINITY Series wins list.
Keselowski led the final 33 laps to earn the victory in the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway Saturday, his third of 2018 and 39th of his career in the series. His win broke a tie with Carl Edwards on the all-time wins list.
The only drivers ahead of Keselowski are Kevin Harvick (47), Mark Martin (49) and Kyle Busch (92). The all-time Xfinity Series wins list can be viewed here.
“This has been a track where I started my career very well with the Cup car here and had some great runs, and then the last half-dozen races I think I’ve ran here have gone quite awful,” Keselowski said.
“I’m trying to figure out why that is and running this race certainly helps. It gives me a lot of confidence and direction to know what to work on to be better.”
Keselowski will start 13th in the Bojangles’ Southern 500 Sunday night and will look to sweep at the track. The driver of the No. 2 Ford is looking for his first win of the year in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
“I think in general I really struggled to get my Cup car to work well in the high lane in (turns) three and four,” Keselowski said of a specific lesson learned competing Saturday.
“I’ve been trying different techniques and I haven’t found anything, and then I got in this car and it just clicked right away, so that tells me it’s not probably something I’m doing, it’s something I’ve got to figure out how to communicate back to the Cup team to get the car right.”
