Kyle Larson moves to 60th all-time on wins list

Kyle Larson has moved to sole possession of 60th all-time in the NASCAR Cup Series all-time wins list after his victory Sunday at Watkins Glen International.
Larson led 27 laps en route to his fifth victory of 2021 and 11th of his career. Larson broke a tie with Donnie Allison, Clint Bowyer and Sterling Marlin.
“Looking at everything out front and what’s coming ahead, we’re going to prepare the same way using the same methodology that we’ve had all year,” Larson said of the win. “We’re going to have the same communication that we’ve had all year and just keep building.”
With his fifth victory of the season, 2021 marks the most victories for Larson in a single Cup Series season, with his previous high coming in 2017 with four wins.
Ahead of Larson on the wins list include Chase Elliott (13), Dick Rathman (13), Tim Richmond (13), Dick Hutcherson (14) and LeeRoy Yarbrough (14).
