Kyle Larson’s victory in the Wise Power 400 at Auto Club Speedway Sunday marked the defending NASCAR Cup Series first win of 2022 and the 17th of his career.

The victory tied Larson with Marvin Panch and Curtis Turner on the wins list for 52nd all-time.

“Definitely wild but cool to get a win here in California and hopefully get on a little streak,” Larson said of the win.

The next set of drivers on the wins list ahead of Larson — all with 18 wins apiece — include Geoff Bodine, Neil Bonnett, Harry Gant, Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman.

The next race for the Cup Series is scheduled for next Sunday, March 6, at Las VEgas Motor Speedway.
