Riggs finished 10th in the Weather Guard Truck Race after collecting one stage point in Stage 2, his highest finish since joining Front Row Motorsports at the beginning of the season.

“I think I almost got into the Top-5 at one point on one of them restarts,” Riggs said. “…the truck has no damage on it, besides the nose being a little caved in on the restarts, like everybody else’s.”

Before Bristol, the rookie driver started the season with two 33rd-place finishes at Daytona and Atlanta, followed by a 22nd-place finish at Las Vegas.

Additionally, Riggs leapfrogged eight positions to 25th in points, 44 points behind the playoff cutline.

“We can definitely build on that,” Riggs said. “Knocking on the door for wins before long.”
