Longest NASCAR Cup Series winless streaks

On Sunday in the Chicago Street Race, Alex Bowman became the sixth driver to snap a winless streak of 36 races or more in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Earlier in the season, teammate Chase Elliott ended a 42-race winless streak in the NASCAR Cup Series. Elliott won the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at TMS. It was his first win since October 2022 at Talladega Superspeedway.

About a month later, Brad Keselowski broke through at Darlington Raceway and ended a 110-race winless streak. In three of the next seven races, others followed suit:

  • Austin Cindric won at Gateway and broke an 85-race winless streak
  • Joey Logano won at Nashville and snapped a 49-race winless streak
  • Alex Bowman won in Chicago and snapped an 80-race winless streak

Not to mention, Daniel Suarez who won at Atlanta in a nailbiter for his first Cup Series win in 57 races.
