NASCAR at Talladega 2024: Odds, lineups, times, standings and more
TALLADEGA, Ala. — Queue up Eric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd and get ready, the NASCAR weekend at Talladega Superspeedway is here.
The NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series will have the ARCA Menards Series with them for a big weekend of racing at the 2.66-mile Alabama superspeedway.
The race is wide open for anyone hoping to change the course of their season – or just survive with their car in one piece.
NASCAR Cup Series GEICO 500

- 3 p.m. Sunday (All times Eastern)
- TV/Radio: FOX, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio
- Stages end on laps: 60/120/188
For the first time this season, Kaz Grala is not on the entry list for a NASCAR Cup Series race. It comes as Grala has the best average finish of any driver in Rick Ware Racing history, dating back to their first foray into the Cup Series in 2017.
Grala has raced the No. 15 RWR Ford in every race except for the Daytona 500. In those eight races, Grala has an average finish of 25.6 – better than teammate Justin Haley (26.6) and Cody Ware in the first seven races last year (27.7).
Ware will drive the No. 15 instead of Grala this weekend at Talladega. It will be his first Cup Series start since Richmond last April.
Beard Motorsports is back for the first time since the Daytona 500 with Anthony Alfredo in their No. 62 Chevrolet. BJ McLeod is back for the first time since Atlanta in his No. 78 Chevrolet. Shane van Gisbergen will also make his oval NASCAR Cup Series debut in the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet.
