NASCAR: Cleetus McFarland 32nd in NOAPS debut at Rockingham

Cleetus McFarland capped off his NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series debut Saturday with a 32nd-place finish, six laps down at Rockingham Speedway.

McFarland, the YouTube star, raced the No. 33 for Richard Childress Racing.

McFarland started the race 35th, going one lap down 25 laps into the race. He finished Stage 1 35th, one lap down, and Stage 2 33rd, two laps down.

McFarland spun with 44 laps to go off of Turn 4, bringing out a caution.

His RCR teammates, Austin Hill and Jesse Love, finished 11th and 27th respectively.

Earlier in the day, McFarland finished fourth in the ARCA East race at the speedway, a career-best in that series.
