NASCAR Las Vegas odds, TV schedule and more info for March 2025

LAS VEGAS — NASCAR is racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend with the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series hitting the track.
Here is the info and odds to know for each race this weekend.
NASCAR Cup Series’ Pennzoil 400
- 267 laps
- Stages end on laps 80, 165, 267
- Last year’s winner: Kyle Larson
- TV schedule: NASCAR TV schedule this weekend: Las Vegas March 2025

Christopher Bell has the chance to become the ninth driver in the modern era of NASCAR (1972-present) to win four races in a row.
Jimmie Johnson last did it in 2007 when he won at Martinsville, Atlanta, Texas and Phoenix. Before that, Jeff Gordon did it with wins at Pocono, Indianapolis, Watkins Glen and Michigan in 1998. Gordon’s streak was the fourth time in the 1990s that a driver won four races in a row.
Harry Gant, Bill Elliott and Mark Martin each did it in 1991, 1992 and 1993, respectively. So far, Bell is mirroring Elliott’s run in 1992 as they each started their streak in the second race of the season. Each of them even won at Atlanta during their streak.
Neither Elliott nor Gant or Martin won the championship in the respective years they went four-in-a-row in. They’re the only drivers who didn’t win the championship after winning four races in a row.
Cale Yarborough in his 1976 championship season, Darrell Waltrip in 1981 and Dale Earnhardt in 1987 were the drivers who won four-in-a-row before the 1990s.

Among all drivers entered for this weekend, fall winner Joey Logano has the best average running position (9.935) and second-best average finish (9.5). Kyle Larson has the best average finish (9.4) but has the third-best average running position behind Logano and Kyle Busch (10.324).

There are no NASCAR Cup Series drivers entered for this weekend’s race. In fact, every driver entered for this weekend’s race at Las Vegas is running for points in the series – a first for the spring race since 2011 when NASCAR began requiring drivers to declare which series they were running for points in.
Before 2011, NASCAR Cup Series regulars won 12 of the first 14 spring Xfinity races at Las Vegas. Even after the change, Cup Series regulars won seven of the first nine spring races but it has gone down to just one in the last five (John Hunter Nemechek last year).

Former Cup Series driver Aric Almirola is racing for JGR this weekend. Almirola won at Phoenix and is looking to go back-to-back. In his last five Xfinity starts, Almirola has finished no worse than third.
Austin Green is entered for this weekend. Green told TRE he wanted to make more starts on traditional ovals.
Leland Honeyman is in the No. 70 Cope Family Racing Chevrolet. CFR had quite the logistics to deal with after Phoenix. They hauled their COTA and Phoenix cars out west. Then, their ARCA team brought the COTA car back to the shop while their affiliated Trans-Am team brought their Las Vegas car out west for them.
