New details released about ‘NASCAR 25’ gameplay
CHELMSFORD, Mass. — iRacing released new details about what it will be like to play the “NASCAR 25” video game set to come out this fall.

The game will feature the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and – “for the first time in NASCAR video game history” – the ARCA Menards Series.
iRacing is touting the ARCA Menards Series as the first step up the ladder in the video game’s career mode.
“You’ll start in your backyard garage in the ARCA Menards Series and hone your skills to advance up the ranks. Sign contracts, earn money, hire more staff, expand your facilities, and earn respect on your way to becoming a multi-time NASCAR Cup Series champion,” iRacing stated in a news release Wednesday.
Previous NASCAR video games, made from 2004-2008 by EA Sports, featured the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as the starting point in career mode.
iRacing stated the “NASCAR 25” gameplay will feature quick races, seasons and online multiplayer. They plan to announce the game’s specific cars, drivers and teams “in due course.”
