O’Reilly Auto Parts Series: AM Racing signs Nick Sanchez, and Daniel Dye

STATESVILLE, N.C. — AM Racing announces Nick Sanchez will drive their No. 25 Ford Mustang Dark Horse full-time in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2026.

Daniel Dye will also step in part-time starting at Daytona in their secondary newly numbered 52 entry as well.

The crew, sponsorships, and more will be announced at a later date.

This headline would have sounded like silly season nonsense just months ago. Both parties had their 2026 plans confirmed before the O’Reilly Series Season concluded.

But, after a surprised exit from Big Machine Racing and AM Racing’s sale revoked, the two now join forces.

They’ll join a O’Reilly Series with a lack of blue ovals. The two primary Ford teams, Haas Factory Team and Ryan Sieg Racing, flipped sides to Chevrolet for 2026.

AM Racing may lack manufacturer teammates, but Sanchez brings plenty of talent.

In his 2025 O’Reilly Series rookie season, he posted one win, seven top fives, and 12 top tens in 33 starts, finishing 11th in the standings.

With an 11.7 average start and a 17.1 average finish, AM Racing adds a competitive young driver poised to build on that momentum.

Daniel Dye will compete full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Kaulig Racing and RAM in 2026

He had a quiet, but sturdy, accident-free 2025 campaign with Kaulig Racing —now Dye will step back up to the O’Reilly Series for a handful of races in 2026.

Those characteristics are beloved for establishing teams looking to maintain equipment and good results as he adds to AM Racing’s young yet contending driver lineup for the upcoming season.

Below is AM Racing’s full announcements.
