Ryan Truex Top-10 in Xfinity Series return
FORT WORTH — In his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start in almost two months, Ryan Truex posted another Top-10 finish in his limited 2024 Xfinity Series schedule with Joe Gibbs Racing.

Truex started seventh and finished seventh, piloting the team’s No. 20 entry, his highest finish of the season.
In three races this year, Truex has posted two Top-10 finishes.
“It’s tough when you don’t drive every week, especially a track like this where (Turns) 1 and 2is so so treacherous and weird, it’s so hard to have the feel that you need right away,” Truex said to The Racing Experts.
“My last oval that wasn’t a super speedway was Darlington last year, so it’s been about a year since I’ve been in a race car period at a normal track.”
Truex mentioned it took him all of practice to get used to the racecar to feel like he could maximize the potential of the racecar.
“I’m proud of the fact that I was able to jump in and know what I needed because I felt like overnight we made the right adjustments to be really good,” Truex said.
Truex will be racing the next two races; Talladega next Saturday and Dover the week after. Truex is the defending Dover race winner.
