Shane van Gisbergen extends NASCAR contract with Trackhouse
CONCORD, N.C. — NASCAR Cup Series driver Shane van Gisbergen and Trackhouse Racing agreed to extend his contract on a multiyear deal.

Trackhouse announced the contract extension Friday. It comes as SVG seeks his fourth win of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season this Sunday at the Watkins Glen International road course. (NASCAR at Watkins Glen 2025: Odds and more info)
SVG already has four Cup wins in 37 starts. He is locked into the playoffs this year with his three wins so far in 2025.

SVG has been strong on the road courses but is still getting better on the ovals. His best finish on an oval is 12th last November at Martinsville. This season, his best finish is 14th in May’s Coca-Cola 600.
SVG will rejoin Ross Chastain who also signed a multiyear deal with Trackhouse but Daniel Suarez won’t be with the team in 2026. While his replacement hasn’t been formally announced, all signs point to Connor Zilisch getting the nod.
