It’s been 25 races since Alfalla’s last victory in the series, the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway back in 2018, when he won his fourth title.
“I thought (Luza) was saving tires there, behind me, but I was able to pull away there at the end,” Keister said. “We were really close for a while, but I was able to drive away with about 30 to go, and just kept on going.”
“Garrett (Lowe) gave me a run for my money,” Ottinger said. “We both weren’t lifting in that situation, and whoever got out front was probably going to win that race.”
“I was going to be happy with a Top 20 and just not getting wrecked, and I made the right call,” Luza said. “Took two tires early, got up to around 20th, and then we had four tires for the really, really long run. I was just in the right spot at the right time.”
