On Tuesday, NASCAR, in conjunction with iRacing, announced the return of the eNASCAR Pro Invitational Series, once again to be broadcasted live on both of NASCAR’s broadcast partner networks on Wednesday nights during the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Denny Hamlin bookended his virtual season on Saturday afternoon, taking the first official NASCAR Racing Series checkered flag at North Wilkesboro Speedway since the track was shuttered in 1996.
William Byron made it three wins out of the last four races in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series with his win on Sunday afternoon.
“I’m legitimately confused how this happened,” Alex Bowman tweeted minutes after crossing the virtual Talladega Superspeedway finish line to capture victory in the GEICO 70 on Sunday afternoon.
“I didn’t really know how that was going to work out, but luckily, we were able to have a little bit of buffer to the guys with four tires, and then the late restart, just executed that well.”
