“For us to win on the 75th anniversary of Richmond Raceway, that’s absolutely perfect.”
“For me, I’m still so inexperienced with oval (racing), I’m just trying to learn each time,” deJong continued, talking highly of his teammates. “I do like putting in the hours to learn how to drive it, and set up the car, but these guys are just masters at dialing things in. It’s so helpful to learn from them.”
Ray: “It’s just… I don’t have any words, I’m at a loss for words. The whole reason why I even won that race was because of all of my teammates… It’s a lot, I’m just really happy.”
Now with 14 races in the books, six remaining on the calendar, and only two until the playoffs, both the playoff picture and Top 20 picture are becoming clearer as the 2020 season begins to wind towards a close.
As motorsports finales can sometimes play out, multiple story lines concluded on Tuesday night at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
