Trackhouse Racing back on track with two top-10s at Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS — Trackhouse Racing was the only organization to have multiple cars finish inside the top-5 in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

For the fourth time in team history, Trackhouse Racing had multiple cars finish inside the top-5. The last time it happened was the February 2023 race at Auto Club Speedway when Ross Chastain finished third and Daniel Suarez finished fourth.
Unlike the Auto Club Speedway race and other races where multiple Trackhouse cars finished inside the top-5, Suarez led the way instead of Chastain.

Suarez finished second after a fierce battle for the win with Josh Berry. He led four times for 12 laps and placed seventh in stage two but came up 1.358 seconds short of his third career NASCAR Cup Series win.
“It’s something to build on. Our mile-and-a-half program is extremely important and we showed our package is pretty good so we have to build on that,” Suarez said.
Teammate Ross Chastain looked to be on Suarez’s heels late in the race, sitting Chastain was third and ready to pounce if Suarez and Berry got together.

Then, along came William Byron who charged toward Chastain. Chastain tried to hang on but Ryan Preece passed them both before Byron got by.
Still, Chastain felt happy about Trackhouse’s performance.
“It’s cool and a lot better feeling to see the lead and watch the 99 fight for it, both of us. The 99 was the best Trackhouse car by far. That’s what we need, we need our cars running well. To see Squid and the 99 team run well, I was so happy to see them run better because I want them to run good. It helps us,” Chastain said.
