William Byron signed through 2022 at HMS

William Byron will be staying put in the No. 24 car at Hendrick Motorsports for the foreseeable future.

The third-year Cup Series driver announced Tuesday, Sept. 1, that he will be in the car through 2022.

“Hard to believe it’s already been four years since Mr. H took a chance on me,” Byron said. “Appreciate all the opportunities he’s given me!”

Byron earned his first win in NASCAR’s elite series at Daytona last month, locking the driver into his second appearance in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
