Young’s Motorsports names full-time Truck driver
Young’s Motorsports named Mason Massey to drive their No. 02 entry full-time in the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.
Massey has 66 NASCAR national series starts but has never raced a full season before. He does have three NASCAR Xfinity Series top-10 finishes to his name — sixth at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March 2022, ninth at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in July 2022 and 10th again at NHMS the following year.
“I couldn’t be more excited to go full-time racing with Tyler and everyone at Young’s Motorsports,” Massey said. “I see the work ethic in all the guys and how much they want it. This was definitely something I wanted to be a part of. We’re ready to kick the season off strong in Daytona on Friday night!”
“I’m really excited to have Mason full-time with our team this year,” team principal Tyler Young added “He has proven he’s the man for the job. We are working hard to make it a great year, and I’m looking forward to it.”
Mason Massey will bring partners BRUNT Workwear and Anderson Power Services with him to adorn the No. 02 Chevrolet throughout the 23-race season.
Massey is the second full-time driver Young’s Motorsports named for the 2024 season. The organization named Leland Honeyman Jr. to their newly-formed No. 42 team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
